MISSION STATEMENT
Green Dwellers mission is to educate, encourage and enable residents to incorporate healthier and more environmentally sustainable bedding into their lifestyle to promote the health of their families, their community and their world.
COMPANY OBJECTIVES
The primary goal of Green Dwellers is to educate the consumer. Second, be the one source for all natural and organic bedding. To improve the quality of life for our customers by providing alternatives to existing toxic and environmentally harmful home products. Our objective is to create awareness not only in the product category but also in the social cause. We know that people given the opportunity are eager to do their part in helping the environment; therefore, Green Dwellers responds to that enthusiasm by providing the knowledge and products to satisfy that need.
Owner and entrepreneur Mylene, whose husband is the first attorney in Florida accredited by the US Green Building Council as a LEED accredited professional and who works with developers to incorporate green design principles into their buildings, came up with the concept after many dinner table conversations with her husband about the benefits of sustainable building.
With a background in interior decorating and fashion merchandising, this mom of two thought there was an opportunity to help people incorporate “green living” principles to the inside of their homes where people spend a significant amount of time exposed to toxins, allergens, and the like. Thus the idea for Green Dwellers was born.
